Friday in Winnipeg the Fort Frances Muskies jumped out to a 27 – 7 lead at halftime against Churchill High School. The Muskies faltered in the second half losing 34 – 27 to the Bulldogs.

The Muskies were led by receiver Hayden Beckett who scored two touchdowns, kicked two field goals and threw to Seamus Barkley for a two-point conversion. Quarterback Parker Booth threw two touchdown passes, one each to Beckett and Barkley. The loss dropped the Muskies record in the Winnipeg High School Football League to 0 and 3.

The Muskies next game is Homecoming this Thursday against West Kildonan High School. Kickoff is at 3 o’clock. The public is encouraged to come out and cheer!
