FFPLTC to stream the 2026 winter Olympics

If you’re looking to take in some Olympic action this month, head down to the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre (FFPLTC) to celebrate with other sports fans.

The FFPLTC will be streaming the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics for viewing at the library throughout the entirety of the games, which run in Italy from Friday, February 6, 2026, through to Sunday, February 26, 2026. The Olympics will be streamed from CBC’s free streaming service Gem! for any members of the public to stop by and watch to help cheer on Canada’s athletes.

The FFPLTC is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Mondays. The FFPLTC is closed all day on Sundays.
