The 2011 edition of the Rainy River District Fastball League gets underway tonight with all 10 teams in action.
In a rematch of last year’s final, the two-time defending champion Sight & Sound Wolves will battle the Barwick Knights.
Elsewhere, the Stratton Eagles square off against the Rainy River Royals, Northwest Bay takes on the Big Grassy Braves, and the Big Grassy Lightning meet the Big Island Huskies.
Finally, Beef’s Warriors, the one new team in the 10-team loop this season, will battle Manitou.
Regular-season games will be played Tuesday and Thursday nights, with the playoffs getting underway July 26.
