EWC deadline nears

The first payment for anglers wishing to compete in the 2007 Emo Walleye Classic is due tomorrow (Nov. 18).
The $300 instalment must be paid in full by the deadline. If teams have not paid by then, they will lose their place in the popular catch-and-release tournament.
The final 10 spots will be determined by a random draw Dec. 2 at Tompkins Hardware during “Holly Daze” festivities.
The sixth-annual event will take place May 24-26, 2007, with 60 teams chasing the top spot and more than $36,000 in prizes.
