After a false start, it will be Emo’s turn to feel the thunder once more before the summer is over.
The Northern Ontario Superior Dirt Riders tour returns to the Emo Motocross track this Saturday, with racing slated to start at 11 a.m.
The event originally was scheduled for Aug. 8, but was postponed over concerns about inclement weather that was forecast for the day.
As bad luck would have it, the racing could have gone ahead as the poor conditions never materialized.
It will be the second and final stop for the racers in Emo this season and the second-last stop on the tour this summer.
The finale set for Sept. 5 in Atikokan.
