Emo figure skaters plan ‘Oscar Night’

Who will win the Oscar? Come and find out this Sunday (March 25) as the Emo Figure Skating Club presents its annual ice show, which this year is called “Oscar Night.”
The show will be staged from 1-4 p.m. at the Emo arena. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for seniors and students over age 12.
Parents and others have put hours of their time into designing and sewing the costumes, including accessories. Each item on the program will feature skaters who have practised three times every week this season to hone their skills.
“We would like to give a special thanks to all of our sponsors,” added EFSC president Diane Nordstrom.
I have watched leaders and skaters go through their motions, teaching and learning, and you can see the progress made on a weekly basis.
Now it is the time to showcase their best to the audience.
