Diehards alone atop standings

The Diehards sit alone in first place atop the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League standings after weekly action last Thursday night.
The squad sports 26 points to hold a slim two-point margin over second-place Gillons’ (the longtime defending league champs) and the Wildcats.
Scared Hitless sits in fourth place with 17 points, followed by Del’s Angels (15), Crush (13), G.I. Janes (12), and Mixed Nuts (nine).
Rounding out the 11-team league are the Power Pacs with six points, then the Rookies and Placers tied for last (two points each).
Action resumes tomorrow night (Thursday) at Fort High and Robert Moore School.
