The local Cyclone Swim Club had some stellar results at the annual Dryden Dolphins Splash meet held Saturday and Sunday in Dryden.
On the girls’ side, both Paige McFayden and Madison LeBlanc came away with six medals each.
Competing in the age 13-and-older division, McFayden snared bronze in the 100m breast (1:33.44), silver in the 50m back (38.64), while also taking bronze in each of the 200m free (2:44.34), 100m back (1:23.85), 50m breast (44.09) and 100m I.M. (1:24.01).
As for LeBlanc, she took part in the age 9-10 division where she took home gold in both the 50m free (40.37), 50m back (45.51), and 50m fly (52.15), while also snagging bronze in each of the 100m free (1:35.50), 200m free (3:21.52), and 50m breast (57.00).
Isabelle Meeks claimed gold in three events in the age 11-12 division, topping each of the 25m free (20.88), 2m back (24.52), and 2m breast (30.37).
Mickenna Ryll also was able to bring home some hardware, taking gold in the 25m back (21.94) in the age 13-and-older division.
On the boys’ side, Matthew Strain just missed out on the podium by placing fourth in each of the 50m free (39.50), 200m free (3:09.22), 50m fly (50.39), and 100m I.M. (1:44.07) in the age 13-and-older division.
