Donovan Taylor, 10, was the lone member of the local Cyclone swim club to compete in an invitational meet at the Canada Games Complex in Thunder Bay last weekend.
But that didn’t stop him from bringing home eight medals (two gold, four silver, and two bronze) to go along with one fourth-place finish.
Taylor won gold in the 100m breast (1:44.32) and 50m back (38.56).
His silver medals came in the 100m free (1:17.57), the 200m free (2:47.25), the 50m breast (47.67), and 50m fly (38.14) while he won bronze in 100m back (1:29.05) and 200m IM (3:11.16).
He also finished fourth In the 50m free (34.72).
