Muskie receiver Colton Craig had an outstanding game against the St. Norbert Celtics here last Friday—and the Winnipeg High School Football League took notice.
The Grade 10 student was named the Currie Division’s offensive player-of-the-week after his 12 receptions, 160 yards, and three touchdowns in a 41-31 loss to the Celtics.
Craig and his Muskie teammates all will need to put up award-winning performances tomorrow when Fort High (1-6) opens the playoffs against the first-place Dakota Lancers (7-0) in Winnipeg.
The Lancers trounced the black-and-gold 42-0 back on Oct. 8.
A loss would end the Muskies’ season while a win would advance them to the WHSFL semi-finals.
