Court teams win three of four versus Broncos

The Muskie court teams are going into the Thanksgiving long weekend on a high note after taking three of four matches from the visiting Kenora Broncos yesterday.
The junior boys’ volleyball team improved to a perfect 4-0 with a four-set win by scores of 25-18, 26-28, 25-14, and 25-7.
The senior boys, meanwhile, had one of their best showings to date but still fell to 0-4 by scores of 17-25, 14-25, 25-19, and 13-25.
On the basketball court, the Muskie junior girls ran their NorWOSSA record to 3-1 with a 21-6 victory over the Broncos.
The black-and-gold held a slim 6-4 lead at the half, but blew the game open over the final two quarters.
Seven different Muskies got on the scoresheet, with Mary Strain, Erika Moffitt, Kelsea Hunsperger, and Jessica Robinson all netting four points.
The senior girls also improved to 3-1 with a 29-24 win yesterday.
