Court teams take three from Broncos

The Muskie court teams took three of four matches in their final regular-season home action yesterday afternoon.
Both boys’ volleyball teams earned 3-1 wins in their best-of-five showdowns against the Kenora Broncos.
The junior squad improved to 6-1 in NorWOSSA play to cement its hold on first place.
Set scores were 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, and 25-19.
The seniors, meanwhile, improved their league record to 3-4.

In girls’ basketball action, the juniors rolled to a 46-20 win over Kenora to remain unbeaten in NorWOSSA play (7-0).
The Muskie high scorers were Ingrid Ellis and Jamie Spencer.
But the seniors remained winless (0-7) following a 31-27 loss to the Broncos here yesterday.
Ellie Petsnick was the high scorer with 13 points
All four teams will conclude regular-season play this Tuesday (Oct. 31) in Dryden.
The NorWOSSA playoffs are set for Nov. 7 in Kenora.
