The four Muskie court teams brought a stocking full of coal for their hosts.
Then they proceeded to beat them over the head with it in what turned into a whole bunch of festive fun for the local squads.
The black-and-gold won all four matches against the Kenora Broncos in NorWOSSA action yesterday to go into the Christmas break full of good cheer.
The junior boys’ basketball team used a 12-4 run in the third quarter to erase a three-point halftime deficit and down the Broncos 54-42.
Rookie Cole Kowalski led the Muskies (3-0) with 15 points while captain Joey Angus netted 12 against the Broncos (1-1).
In senior boys’ play, Fort High (2-1) made it back-to-back wins this week with a 59-42 defeat of Kenora (0-2).

On the volleyball court, the Muskie senior girls (1-2) finally broke into the win column by sweeping the Broncos in their best-of-five match (25-20, 25-23, and 25-17).
Meanwhile, the junior Muskies (2-1) breezed to their own sweep of winless Kenora (25-15, 25-5, and 25-19).
The court teams resume play Jan. 9 when the Broncos visit Fort High beginning at noon.
