Court teams close out regular season today

The four Muskie court teams are closing out the NorWOSSA regular season here this afternoon against the Dryden Eagles.
Action got underway at 3:30 p.m. in both the large and small gyms.
Today’s matches previously had been scheduled for Oct. 6, but they were cancelled when inclement weather prevented the Eagles from travelling down Highway 502.
The Muskies are coming off a split against these same Eagles here last Thursday.
The senior girls’ basketball team pulled out a narrow 31-30 victory while the junior boys’ volleyball squad went the distance, earning a 15-13 win in the fifth and deciding set for a 3-2 triumph.
The senior spikers were swept 3-0 in their best-of-five match with the Eagles, losing by scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-18, while the junior hoopsters were routed 38-9.
This is the final tune-up for the four Muskie squads before the NorWOSSA playoffs are held this Thursday (Nov. 10) up in Dryden.
