As part of the Rainy River Future Development Corp.’s Customer Service Celebration this month, stories of exemplary customer service now can be viewed online at www.rrfdc.on.ca/customer-service-celebration
All “Customer Service Champions” also will be recognized in a large ad in this week’s Fort Frances Times.
A total of 21 stories reflecting a wide variety of businesses were submitted by district residents by the Feb. 18 deadline.
Among those being recognized is Leanne Spry of the Times’ Web Design department.
“We recently needed some updates to our website,” wrote the person who saluted her.
“Leanne quickly responded to our needs, made the changes, and had the site refreshed within the day.
“She helps explain the complex world of digital marketing to those of us who don’t speak that language,” the nomination added.
“We appreciate her efforts.”
Others singled out were Morgan Albisser (Pharmasave), Doug and Blair Anderson
(Betty’s), Kim Bruyere (Safeway), Kevin Busch (Safeway), Ted DeBenetti (A Buck or Two), Doug Derendorf (Gold Star Taxi), Diane Gibson (Copper River Inn), Steve Gushulak (Fort Frances General Supply), Debi Gustafson (McTaggarts), Karen Haney (Lowey’s), Melanie Kozik (Living Art Emporium), and Harold McQuaker (Harold McQuaker Enterprises).
Also in the spotlight are From the Grind Up owner Ben Morelli (recognized by two individuals), Kent Ogden (Cloverleaf Grocery), Tom Reid (Fort Duty-Free), Shayla Smith (Mr. Sub), Sandy Spence and Selena Morris (Razor’s Edge Hair Salon), Nina Stopa (Back in Motion Massage Therapy), and all of the staff at the Safeway gas bar.
Each honourees’ name is accompanied by a story explaining how they have gone “above and beyond” for their customers.
