Bulldogs bite Sharks

Having watched the Gillons’ Sharks capture two Atom tournaments this season, the M.E.C. Bulldogs were determined to get some revenge in the playoffs this past week.
Which is exactly what they did last Thursday evening at the ’52 Canadians Arena.
The Bulldogs skated away with a 4-2 victory in the third-and-deciding game of the championship series against their local rivals.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Connor Schofield, who netted a pair of goals Thursday night.
Ayden Sunstrum and Kobi Ward also scored, with Ward’s goal coming while the Bulldogs were shorthanded.
The Bulldogs had opened up the series with a 5-2 win in Game 1.
But the Sharks took Game 2 by a 7-3 score to set up the series decider.
