Braves cap undefeated regular season

What a way to end the regular season.
Jaden Gustafson was stellar on the pitching rubber to pace the Fort Frances Braves to a 14-0 drubbing of the Sabaskong Goldeneyes on Monday in a make-up game for the one that was postponed back on May 31.
The Braves finished with an unblemished 16-0 record and will head into the playoffs as the top seed.
Jaden Gustafson nabbed his league-leading 10th victory while Keenan Copenace was tagged with the loss for the Goldeneyes (3-13).
The Stratton Eagles and Windy’s Warriors battled to a 1-1 tie in a make-up from May 31.
Shelby Nosan toed the rubber for Stratton (6-8-2) while Rob McGinnis was on the bump for the Warriors (6-9-1).
In a make-up from June 19, the Manitou Thunderbirds topped the Rainy River Royals 11-8 for their lone win of the season on Thursday night.
Jeff Dyck smacked an inside-the-park homer in a losing cause for the Royals (5-10-1).
Nathan DeBungee nabbed the win for the last-place Thunderbirds (1-15) while Myron Armstrong suffered the loss.
The Sight & Sound Wolves cruised to a 10-2 romp over the Goldeneyes in a make-up from the one that was postponed on June 19.
John Desaulniers picked up his fourth win for the Wolves (10-5-1) while the losing pitcher for the Goldenyes was not known as of press time.

The Warriors cruised to an 11-2 romp over the Thunderbirds.
Marcel Pagee picked up the win while Dan Servello had the loss.
The playoffs were slated to kick off last night, with ninth-place Rainy River battling the eighth-place Eagles and the 10th-seed Chieftains taking on the seventh-place Warriors.

The Braves, Dawson Tigers (13-1-2), Blue Knights, Wolves, Lakers, and Raiders all have byes to the second round.
