Four local bowlers advanced to the provincial showdown coming up Easter weekend in Dryden after competing Jan. 24-25 in the 20-game zone roll-offs in Kenora.
Andrew Stamarski finished with a 4,725 total to qualify for the Sunset Country men’s squad while Dixie McDonald rolled a 4,430 to qualify for the women’s team.
Tammy Kankkuner (3,946) and Ken Dick (4,527) both qualified for the Sunset Country mixed team.
Other locals who bowled in Kenora but didn’t advance were Jason Rousseau (4,456), Rick Stamarski (4,225), and Kathy Bois (3,745).
