Big Island finally wins

It took a make-up game to do it, but every team in the Rainy River District Fastball League now has a victory.
Previously-winless Big Island snagged its first win of the season after topping Manitou 10-8 last night.
Patrick Gibbins earned the win while Elvis Debungee took the loss.
In other make-up games last night, the Big Grassy Lightning dumped the Big Grassy Braves 16-1.
Scott Major went yard for the Lightning while Jeff Morrison notched the victory.
Travis Tom was tagged with the loss.
Meanwhile, Barwick bombed Northwest Bay 27-0.
Kevin Gemmell went deep for the Blue Knights in support of winning pitcher George Oltsher.
Terry Smith shouldered the loss.
Regularly-scheduled action is set to resume tonight—weather permitting.
Sight & Sound visits the Lightning, the Braves travel to Barwick, Rainy River hosts Stratton, Sabaskong entertains Big Island, and Northwest Bay heads to Manitou.
