Barwick to host Sight & Sound tonight

The hottest team in the playoffs squares off against the regular season’s best team tonight in Rainy River District Fastball League action.
Barwick, the only undefeated team remaining in the postseason, will look to clinch the championship with a win at home.
The Wolves meanwhile are simply looking to stay alive in the playoffs.
A Sight & Sound road win would force a second and championship deciding game against Barwick next Tuesday at VanJura Park.
Fans in attendance at the Barwick diamond tonight should be in for a treat as each of the three previous match-ups between these two ballclubs have been hard fought affairs.
Barwick defeated the Wolves in their first regular season contest 6-5 in eight innings back on June 6.
The Wolves avenged the loss a month later on their home diamond defeating the visitors 3-1.
And in their most recent match-up, Barwick won a 12-11 shootout over Sight & Sound in the third round of the playoffs.
First pitch in tonight’s game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
