Arpin’s next race delayed

Now won’t
drive until
May 20

Fort Frances native Steve Arpin will have to wait a little longer for his next race in the Nationwide Series.
The 28-year-old originally was set to get back behind the wheel of the #30 Mike’s On The Rocks Chevrolet Impala for Turner Motorsports on Saturday, May 5 at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
Instead, he’ll now be returning to the driver’s seat on Sunday, May 20 at the Iowa Speedway in Newton.
Arpin has raced at the 7/8-mile oval four times in his career in the Nationwide, Camping World Truck, and ARCA Series, with his best finish being eighth place at an ARCA event back in 2009.
Arpin finished 10th in his lone Nationwide start this season last Friday night at the Texas Motor Speedway.
