After a solid rookie season on the ARCA RE/MAX circuit, local stock car driver Steve Arpin is gearing up for his sophomore campaign.
Arpin is set to race in the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona this Saturday (Feb. 6) at 3:30 p.m.
He finished seventh overall in the standings in 2009, garnering the ARCA Most Popular Driver Award along the way.
His best finish of the season was a fourth-place showing at the Pennsylvania ARCA 200 back on Aug. 1.
Speed Network is scheduled to televise the race while ARCAracing.com will provide live audio coverage.
Boston Pizza here also will be showing the race and giving away Arpin-related prizes.
Pinewood Sports also is accepting entries to win Arpin gear.
