It was a steady performance for Steve Arpin and his #32 Mike’s Hard Lemonade Chevrolet Silverado at the Iowa Speedway in Newton on Saturday night.
The Fort Frances native was able to drive his Turner Motorsports-owned vehicle to a 13th-place showing in the Coca-Cola 200 event for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Arpin, who started the race in 13th, stayed right around there for most of the night.
He was able to crack the top 10 near the race’s halfway point, but was unable to surpass his career-best showing of 12th at the Kentucky Speedway the previous week.
Long-time series runner Matt Crafton took home the checkered flag for his first win of the season, and just his second career victory in 258 starts.
Next up for Arpin in his five-race schedule is the AAA Insurance 200 on Friday, Aug. 29 at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Ind., which is located just outside of Indianapolis.
Start time for the 200-lap affair, which will air live on the Speed Channel, is slated for 6:30 p.m. (CDT).
