Arpin crashes in Iowa

A week after earning his first top 10 finish on the Nationwide circuit, local driver Steve Arpin had a tough time adjusting back to the ARCA series.
The 26-year-old crashed on the 54th lap of the Prairie Meadows 200 at the Iowa Speedway on Saturday, ending his day in 28th spot.
Arpin had been 11th on the starting grid.
The low finish also dropped Arpin a spot in the overall points standings.
He now sits in ninth with 1,720 points, 320 behind leader Justin Marks.
Arpin is slated to return to the Nationwide circuit this Saturday (July 17) for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill.
