Arpin at nine and counting

The good news for Borderland racing fans who were looking to see the dethroning of Steve Arpin from his recent dominance of the modified feature race came in the shape of veteran racers Kevin Sexton and Dwayne Pihulak, who made their first appearance this season at the Emo Speedway last Saturday.
The bad news: Arpin still won the checkered flag in that race–his ninth consecutive victory lap.
Roland Denzler and Brian Nelson won heats one and two respectively.
Arpin’s bounty, which was at $500 two weeks ago, has ballooned considerably and all eyes will again be on the track when the final race of the evening begins.
A reminder racing action resumes this Saturday at 7 p.m. (Hot laps start at 6:30)
