Arpin 16th in Toledo

Unlike the last time he broke a drought, local driver Steve Arpin was unable to carry forth some momentum into the following race.
A week after capturing the Southern Illinois 100, Arpin finished a distant 16th at the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 yesterday in Toledo.
He wound up 19 laps behind winner Chris Buescher after starting the race ninth on the grid.
Arpin remains 13th in the overall points standings with 2,920 points, well behind leader Patrick Sheltra (4,065).
It was Arpin’s first race in a new pink Mike’s Hard Lemonade car, which is intended to help raise awareness and donations for breast cancer research.
Arpin will race the car, while wearing a complementary racing suit, for the remaining three races, which continues this Saturday (Sept. 18) with the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA Fall Classic at Salem Speedway.
