The Fort Frances Aquanauts Swim Team opened their competitive season Saturday at the Dryden Dolphins Open.
“For the first meet of the season, it was really good,” Aquanauts’ head coach Dawnn Taylor enthused.
“We had lots of first-timers, but it was a great meet for a starter meet for our younger kids who had never swam in one before,” she added. “We paired them up with one of our senior swimmers so they were shadowed the whole day, and everyone was cheering for everybody.
“It was a great team event.”
