It was an alarming development for a league that has had difficulty getting its feet underneath it this season.
A fire alarm that accidentally was triggered led to the evacuation of Fort High on Monday evening.
It caused the postponement—and possible cancellation—of the Taggs vs. La Place Rendez-Vous match-up in the Fort Frances Men’s Basketball League.
The game may be made up in the future, though a set date was not available at press time.
It’s been a difficult start to the season for the league, which has seen multiple forfeits due to a lack of players showing up for games.
In the opening game Monday, Caleb McIntosh racked up 31 points to lead the Muskie squad to a 62-57 win over Boston Pizza.
Garnett Cole led BP with 18 points.
This coming Monday, the Muskies will take on the Vous at 6:45 p.m..
The late game at 8 p.m. features Taggs versus BP.
