Ten Junior Lakers AAA teams took part in the Summer Showdown in Minneapolis last weekend, bringing home several top finishes.
In the girls 14 U division, the U14 Junior Lakers AAA won the championship. Lakers forward Gianna Gushulak led the division in points, goals and assists. Goaltender Ava Burns led the division in goaltending, topping shutouts and goals against average categories.
The 2011 Lakers AAA team won the 2011 White division with goaltender Calder Godin tying for the lead among goaltending stats.
The 2012 Lakers AAA team won the White division taking the final 7-4. Laker Kaden Clower led the division in points while teammate Allister Knutsen led the division in goals.
Lakers girls AAA U12 won the White Division in a 5-4 final win.
The 2016 Junior Lakers AAA came in second place in their division, with William Morelli leading his division in assists and goaltender Griffin Veldhuisen tied for the lead in goaltending.
The 2017 Junior Lakers AAA were runners up in their division, with goaltender Hudson Bobczynski leading his division in leading goaltending, save percentage and goals against average.
Third place finishing teams were 2014 Junior Lakers AAA, 2015 Junior Lakers AAA, with girls 10U Junior Lakers AAA forward Aella Grynol leading the division in assists, and the 2018 Junior Lakers AAA.
The 2013 Junior Lakers AAA came in fifth place in their division.
