An arrest has been made in connection to the death of Christopher Lee Jack, 38, of the Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation that occurred there July 10.
Micheline Nicole Chiefson, 24, of Naicatchewenin First Nation was arrested July 16 and charged with second-degree murder.
The accused was scheduled to appear in court in Kenora yesterday.
The cause of Jack’s death is not being released at this time.
Officers from the Treaty #3 Police Service and the OPP North West Region Crime Unit are continuing the investigation under the direction of Acting Det.-Insp. Randy Heida of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch.
