Family Day is this Monday (Feb. 21) and it looks like there will be plenty for parents and kids to do across Rainy River District this year.
The Memorial Sports Centre will be open during its regular hours (6 a.m.-10 p.m.)
There also will be a free family swim from 10 am.-noon, followed by a free family skate from 1-2:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Family Day.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the library will be holding a Wii Family Feud, followed by the screening a family movie at 2 p.m.
These activities also are free.

Meanwhile, the Alberton recreation committee is hosting its 10th-annual winter fun day on Family Day at the millennium rink from 1 p.m. until the last marshmallow is toasted.
Families are encouraged to come out and enjoy skating, sliding, drinking hot chocolate, eating hotdogs, playing games, and trying to win door prizes.
In Emo, the public can celebrate Family Day at the Emo-La Vallee Community Centre, where there will be an afternoon of free family fun from noon-4 p.m.
First will be family skating from noon-2 p.m., followed by shinny hockey from 2-4 p.m. (helmets and gloves mandatory).
There also will be free movies, games, and snacks.
This event is organized by the Emo-La Vallee-Chapple Healthy Communities Coalition.
