Visitor restriction at Rainycrest

Press Release

Due to an increase in the number of confirmed cases of gastroenteritis at Rainycrest Long-Term Care here, visiting will be restricted to family members only until further notice.
Family members are asked to restrict their visit to the resident’s room and refrain from visiting other residents while at Rainycrest.
All group programming by Activation also is being cancelled until further notice.
Do not visit if you are experiencing a cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Remember, the best way to stop the spread of infectious diseases is to wash your hands frequently.
The Infection Control committee at Rainycrest will continue to monitor the situation, and a further update will be provided at a later date.
If you have any questions or concerns, call Edith Bodnar (274-2605) or infection control officer Jodi Jewell (274-4835).
