Press Release
If you value life-long learning, achieving short and long term goals and reaching your full potential, e-learning courses are a great resource for you.
The Valley Adult Learning Association has relocated to 241 C Second St. East (in the old high school renovated complex), and is now accepting learners interested in improving their skills for managing the many challenges of everyday life and work.
Along with the many fall courses being offered at the learning centre, there are opportunities to access free, computer online courses termed “e-learning.”
E-learning enables individual learners to develop essential skills in a relaxed setting with specialized instructors.
Courses vary from a single two-hour session to a series of two-hour sessions.
Learning can be done on- or off-site.
Some examples of the fall e-learning courses offered are: computers, math, pre-GED subjects, English upgrading, money management, and many more.
VALA works with committed adult to achieve their personal goals for greater opportunities in the workplace, education, training or increased personal independence.
