Representatives from all 21 universities in Ontario will be at Fort Frances High School on Monday, Oct. 5 from 2-3:15 p.m.
The University Information Program (UIP) invites local high school students and their parents to this free event, where they have a chance to speak in person with multiple university reps.
The UIP is an opportunity for students who are considering university to learn more about different admission requirements, scholarships, residence, the application process, campus life, and much more.
It is designed to assist graduating high school students to make an informed decision shortly before they apply to universities in January, and to assist younger students with high school course selections—allowing them to apply to the university program of their choice down the road.
Students and their parents will have the chance to roam around the one hour and 15 minute session in the high school gym, where they can visit every Ontario university rep individually.
Students who are interested in attending are encouraged to confirm their UIP schedule with their high school guidance office.
