Town’s public consultation rescheduled

A public input session to help determine the future of the Shevlin Wood Yard and Nursing Station has been rescheduled for this Wednesday (Feb. 12) 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The event was originally scheduled for this Thursday (Feb. 13) but was rescheduled due to it conflicting with the Chamber Business Awards which take place this Thursday.

Through provincial and federal funding, Fort Frances recently hired consultants to assist in creating redevelopment plans for the Nursing Station and Shevlin Wood Yard.

To attend the first public consultation regarding the two properties RSVP to Cody Vangel by email at cvangel@fortfrances.ca or call 807-274-5323 ext 1216.

There will be a total of three public meetings held over the next six to eight months.
