The Town of Fort Frances has announced its “I Live Here” social media contest.
To enter, you first must follow the Town of Fort Frances’ (@fort_frances) tweets on the popular social media site, Twitter.
Then tweet a picture you’ve taken of Fort Frances with either heading of “I Live Here” or “I Play Here.”
You also must include the following hashtags: #fortfrances and #ilivehere or #iplayhere.
The town then will re-tweet your picture and share it online.
“The Town of Fort Frances is a great place to live and play,” said Mayor Roy Avis.
“As residents we all know this and by using the platforms that social media provides, we have the opportunity to share this with the world,” he added.
Every picture you tweet enters your name in a draw for a $50 Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce gift certificate.
The number of entries is unlimited, however each entry must include a different picture. So take and tweet as many pictures of our beautiful town as you can!
The earlier you start tweeting, the more chances you have of winning as each entry remains in the contest until the end.
The contest started June 5 and ends Sept. 4.
A draw will take place every seven-10 days, and the winner of that round will be announced on Twitter.
