Too many walleye costly

From the MNRF

A British Columbia man has been fined for an offence under the Ontario Fishery Regulations.
Wayne Jensen, of Vancouver, pleaded guilty and was fined $3,250 for possessing an over-limit of walleye.
Court heard that on May 27, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry conservation officers contacted Jensen, who was travelling in a boat on the Nungesser River from a fishing lodge north of the Town of Red Lake.
Upon inspecting the vessel, officers located three large bags of walleye fillets.
A further investigation revealed Jensen was in possession of 19 walleye–15 more than his sport-fishing licence allowed.
Justice of the Peace Edith Baas heard the case Sept. 19 in Red Lake.
