Fort Frances OPP are investigating a robbery at a local business here.
Yesterday around 9 p.m., a suspect entered the East End Confectionery, located at 1026 Scott St., brandishing a black hand gun.
The suspect handed an employee a cream-coloured satchel and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a male, between 5’5’ and 5’8”, and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a baggy black sweatshirt, black pants, and white running shoes, and also wore a black balaclava at the time of the robbery.
