Knox United Church here is pleased to welcome “The Great Plains” musical group tonight at 7 p.m.
Dubbed as “plain folk making great music,” Darrel and Saskia Delaronde will be presenting fabulous Canadian music with Celtic, bluegrass, and Gospel flavors all wrapped around extremely beautiful melodies.
They perform throughout Canada and Western Europe, and have cultivated an immense following winning over their fans one town, one community hall, and one heart at a time.
Tickets, which cost $15 each, will be available at the door, with proceeds being directed to the Knox Renewal Fund.
The fund is being directed to help pay for the major renovations that included the installation of an elevator, which has provided access to the sanctuary, as well as accessible washrooms.
