Tickets going fast for Kiwanis breakfast

Though it isn’t taking place for nearly another month, those who want to attend the local Kiwanis Club’s annual Good Friday breakfast had better act fast.
“Tickets are going exceptionally well,” club secretary Dr. Robert Lidkea said this morning.
“It’s definitely going to be a sell-out again this year, so people wanting tickets better get in line,” he chuckled.
A total of 250 tickets will be sold. They cost $6 until next Tuesday (March 21) and $11 each after that date.
“But I’m sure they’ll be gone by then,” noted Dr. Lidkea. “If people want tickets, they should be looking for them early and not putting it off.”
The tickets are available at Drs. Lidkea, Elliott and Lidkea, through several local churches, or by calling Sandy at 274-1242.
The perennially sold-out breakfast will take place Friday, April 14 at 8 a.m. at La Place Rendez-Vous. The breakfast will be a self-serve smorgasbord featuring a range of food.
Guest speaker will be Pastor Stephen Laing of the new Beginnings Fellowship Church, with music provided by Mike Andrusco.
