The building of the new Robert Moore School here continues to roll along, with the Rainy River District School Board officially awarding the tender at a special meeting this morning.
Manshield Construction Inc. was awarded the tender for the Robert Moore/Huffman Consolidation Capital Project in the amount of $11,830,000, plus taxes.
Residents can expect to see activity on the site as of next Wednesday, noted Raymond Roy, the board’s manager of plant operations and maintenance.
Most recently, Manshield was the company used to rebuild the J.W. Walker gymnasium after it had been destroyed by fire.
