A post-mortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow at the Chief Coroners Office in Toronto.
The suspect, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, remains in custody pending a court appearance tomorrow in Kenora.
At the request of the NAPS, the OPP’s North West Region Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, was called in to assist in this investigation.
