Fort Frances OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program during the afternoon of May 28.
A male driver in a pickup truck drove up and stopped for police.
During the stop, officers noticed a large covered package inside the vehicle and that the driver was uneasy with the police presence.
An investigation revealed the male was in possession of more than seven pounds of marijuana, with a street value topping $21,000.
David Spellman, 18, of Fort Frances was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He is scheduled to appear in court here June 29.
