Local talent will be showcased on Aug. 25 at Mud Lake City’s musical one-day festival.
All performers and spectators are welcome to the open stage, free admission concert in Mud Lake City, which is located south of Devlin on Boxalder Rd. W.
Mud Lake City, named after a nearby bog, is the creation of Betty and Wayne Salchert. It’s not found in the telephone directory or on a map but it’s home to them.
Last year, 300 people attended the concert to listen to local musicians and look at the couple’s countless antiques.
Lunch and refreshments are available but concertgoers are welcome to bring their own.
The rain date for the concert is September 8. For more information or to book a performance time, call 486-3536.
