Stott to perform here Sunday

Local country music fans will be treated to the vocal stylings of Amanda Stott this Sunday evening.
The up-and-coming Canadian teen artist will be performing at the Townshend Theatre at 7:30 p.m. as the final show of tour de Fort’s “Encore” concert series.
Stott, who has released a self-titled album and has videos playing on the Country Music Television network, already has appeared on stage with such artists as Chantal Kreviazuk, Burton Cummings, Prairie Oyster, Lisa Brokop, Patricia Conroy, Big Sugar, and Randy Bachman.
“Amanda Stott is an incredibly accomplished singer . . . especially when you consider her young age,” tour de Fort president Wendy Brunetta said in a press release.
“She has a very refreshing energy on stage,” added Wanda Botsford.
Vouchers for next season’s “Encore” series, which cost $50 for three shows, also will be on sale at Sunday’s concert. The lineup for the series will be announced at a later date.
“As in the ‘Passport’ series, we will gladly refund the full price of the ‘Encore’ series vouchers prior to the first concert if someone is not pleased with the lineup once it is announced,” Botsford said.
