Press Release
The Special Events Committee of Riverside Foundation for Health Care is looking forward to once again hosting its annual spring luncheon.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 29 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Robert Moore School gymnasium.
With this year’s theme being “Mama Needs to Relax,” the luncheon will offer an opportunity for those on hand to enjoy a relaxing lunch, fun games, and a silent auction and penny table to support district health care.
The committee is excited to bring back last year’s very popular boutique.
The “Retreat Boutique” will feature items meant to inspire “Mamas” to engage in relaxation activities and satisfy their shopping needs.
Last year, the generosity of our patrons raised more than $10,000, which went towards the purchase of a moleculight that is a tool used to assist medical staff in wound care.
This year, the goal is to raise funds towards the purchase of two couches for the Chemotherapy Department waiting room and an IV pump for the Outpatient Department.
Mamas/ladies of all ages from across the district are invited to attend this fun and charitable luncheon.
Those wishing to come and relax, as well as have fun with friends and fellow health-care supporters, are encouraged to get their tickets early as this event tends to sell out quickly.
Come in your most comfortable lounge wear and enjoy!
Tickets cost $20 each, which can be purchased at McTaggarts and Northwoods or by calling the Foundation director’s office at 274-4803.
Tables of eight also may be reserved through the director’s office.
Thank you in advance for supporting this event.
