A 49-year-old Onegaming First Nations man is dead following a collision between a truck and snowmachine on the ice road at Sabaskong Bay on Lake of the Woods.
The accident occurred around 11 a.m. on Friday, police reported.
The victim, who was not identified by police, was driving the snowmachine.
Members of the OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit attended to assist officers with the scene examination.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
