Shrine Circus big hit with families

If you were looking for some fun and excitement yesterday, the place to be was the Ice for Kids Arena, but you had to get there early because the hottest ticket in town was the Shrine Circus.
The world-famous family show put on two performances yesterday at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and the evening show in particular was strictly standing-room-only as kids and their parents filled the arena to capacity.
This year’s tour is a little special because it also marks the 100th anniversary of the Shrine Circus.
In addition to the show, there were also pony and elephant rides, face painting, and a chance to hold a 10-ft. boa constrictor.
