On Wednesday, Oct. 25, the Fort Frances Labour Council will be sponsoring an all-candidates’ debate, which will take place at the Métis Community Hall (old Polish Hall).
All the candidates running for positions on the Fort Frances town council have been invited to attend, and will be given a timed opportunity to introduce themselves and highlight a few main points of personal importance in their bid for election.
Questions from the floor will be encouraged. Gordon McBride will act as moderator.
The councillor candidates’ debate will run from 7-8 p.m., followed by the mayoral candidates’ debate from 8-9 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend, listen, and question so as to be an informed voter for the Nov. 13 municipal election.
