Search for man expanded

The search for a missing elderly man has been expanded to include members of the OPP’s Emergency Response Team (ERT), as well as the K-9 unit and the OPP helicopter.
Also assisting in the search for Florent Trottier, a.k.a. “Flo,” is the Lakehead Search and Rescue Team.
Trottier last was seen in the Eva Lake Road area on Monday morning.
Trottier, who is 89, is described as 5’8” and weighing 195 pounds.
He has a scar on his face that crosses his lips and is quite noticeable.
He was believed to be wearing a blaze orange insulated jacket, black ball cap with gold embroidery, a green work shirt, blue work pants, and black insulated rubber boots.
Anyone with information on Trottier’s whereabouts, or who may have seen or picked up anyone walking along Highway #11 or Highway #633 matching his description on May 11 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., is asked to contact the OPP’s Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
